- Benefit concert for Newton Academy, Shoreham, VT. This was a packed house last year, and lots of fun. We encourage you to arrive early to get good seats. Shoreham Elementary School. 7:30 -- 9:30PM
- March 8, 2008
- CD release party and show, Barre Opera House, 6 N. Main St., Barre, VT. 7:30PM. We kick off the season with a concert and party to celebrate the release of our new CD. We'll have lots of our new CDs, T-shirts and baseball caps for sale. And to make it even better, we've invited our good friends Gopher Broke, a wonderful traditional bluegrass band from the eastern side of Vermont to play. These boys put on a great show so this will be a terrific evening. Tickets available shortly at Barre Opera House.

- Lincoln Inn, 4 Park Street, Essex Junction, VT. 7:00 -- 10:00PM. Essex is easily reached by a 15 minute drive from Burlington. Come early for dinner. Directions from I-89, Exit 12: Take I-89, Exit 12, drive North towards Essex Junction on Route 2A. Travel 3.6 miles to the Lincoln Inn (on the right at the Five Corners intersection). Directions from I-89, Exit 15: Take I-89, Exit 15, drive East towards Essex Junction on Route 15. Travel 5 miles (eastbound) to Essex Junction. At the Five Corners intersection, turn right onto Route 2A (south). The Lincoln Inn will be immediately on your left.

- North Branch Bluegrass Festival, Bridgewater, VT. This new festival has a terrific lineup and looks to be a lot of fun. Besides us, you'll see the New England Bluegrass Band, Crossing North and Gopher Broke. There'll be lots of workshops, too. Show starts at 11AM and goes on till about 8PM.

- Freeman Corey, Champlain Valley Folk Festival, Ferrisburgh, VT. 2:00PM. (Note: This is not a Big Spike show.) Freeman will appear with his father, Freeman Corey, Sr., a wonderful old-time fiddler. The CVFF is a long-running weekend festival showcasing the music of the Champlain Valley and Quebec. The Boston Globe has called this "One of the front-porch friendliest festivals in the region." Highly recommended.

- Lake Champlain Bluegrass Festival, Alburg, VT. This has turned into one of the top bluegrass festivals in the Northeast in a very short time. It's a great site, they always have a terrific lineup, and we've enjoyed ourselves thoroughly when we've played here in the past. Mark this one down as a "don't miss".

- Westport Summer Concert Series, Ballard Park, Westport, NY. 7:00PM. (NOTE NEW DATE) We return to the Westport summer concerts. We had a huge turnout the last time we played there, and are really looking forward to going back.

- Otis Mountain Music Festival, Elizabethtown, NY. Great local festival with a wide variety of bluegrass and acoustic music. Just gets better every year. Beautiful natural ampitheatre. And we're the host band! C'mon out and visit with us.
